photography

After using point-and-shoot film cameras mostly for vacation I finally switched to my first SLR: Minolta SRT-101 which I used the first time already "on site" photographing the latest cars at the IAA in Frankfurt 1995.

Later on the first digital camera was a Canon S30 with 3 Megapixels and a nice amount of manual controls.

In 2005 I stepped up to DSLR, the Canon EOS 350D with which I really startet shooting different topics like events, models, cities, landscapes.

Aquiring the new Canon EOS 5D Mark II in 2008 it provided the possibility of shooting video shorts additionally to the pictures in high quality. Using the same lenses as with the 350D, the lenses quite changed their behaviour with the more-demanding 5d2. The final output looks closer to the old analogue SLR. Also more photography topics were covered: wedding, travel and with the underwater housing for Ixus 700 first steps of underwater photography.
